BRITISH WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL

British Wheelchair Basketball is the governing body for wheelchair basketball in the United Kingdom and exists to establish the United Kingdom in wheelchair basketball as the premier nation in the world evidenced by our levels of participation, structures, systems, world beating performances, and the influence and respect held by the UK in the World.

British Wheelchair Basketball has a league across the UK with over 130 teams, a comprehensive coaching and workforce programme together with a performance programme that has seen the British Men’s Team retain the title of Champions of Europe since 2011 and the British Women’s under 25 team recently become World Champions.

Through the website people can find information on where to play, compete, volunteer, support and spectate with an abundance of opportunities for everyone on and off the court.

The United Kingdom boasts the largest Junior League and Women’s League of their kind in the world and it continues to grow following the legacy programme it developed to capitalise on London 2012.
